How can I book a table?

You can book via our website on the Book a Table page, by phone on 01664 793324, or in-person during our opening hours.

Please note that our phone/ email is unmonitored on the days we are closed, and we may be unable to answer calls during busy service times. Voice messages can be left, please ensure to leave your contact details.

Callbacks are not available outside of our opening times. We are closed Monday-Wednesday.

Due to popular demand the likelihood is we have reached our capacity for that given slot. Our online booking system will suggest available slots for the same date if there are any. In the event of there not being any on that occasion it will suggest future dates with suitable availability.

Note: There are no extra/spare tables. Once they are full, they are full!

However, it is possible to join the waiting list should a last minute cancellation occur.

Entering your credit card details is required to confirm your booking (as requested/ when prompted). The registered card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation (within 48 of the booking), a No-Show, or a reduction in your Party’s number.

Note: A single Party of six (6) is given priority when booking the table facing the Kitchen/Chef’s Table.

Our maximum group booking size is eight (8) during a regular lunch or dinner. This will usually be two adjacent tables of four (4), with a small gap between them to support our level of service.

Larger groups may be accommodated with prior notice, subject to availability. Please note these bookings would be spread over neighbouring tables and served as separate tables, rather than all at once as one group.

Yes, private events and exclusive hire can be arranged in advance, subject to availability. Exclusive hire is priced based on 30 guests for lunch and a minimum of 40 guests for the evening, with a minimum fixed spend regardless of whether your group is smaller. Please message or call to enquire.

When booking, you will be advised of the maximum duration of your stay. During busy times, we may require the table for a later booking.

For a more relaxed evening, we recommend booking after 7pm. For a leisurely lunch, earlier booking slots are best (for example 12pm or 12:30pm).

We are currently taking bookings for up to 6 months in advance. Please note we reserve the right to cancel bookings at any time.

Seasonally, around every 2-3 months. Certain dishes or ingredients may also change day-to-day, subject to availability and supply/demand.

Absolutely. Just visit us in person during opening hours and our team will prepare one for you to take away.

Yes. In the coming months, our newly refurbished apartments will be available to book either directly via our website, over the phone, and through popular booking sites. More details will follow once they are ready.

Yes, if we have space available. During busy times this may not be possible, as priority is given to diners with reservations, but feel free to ask at the door.

Yes, we have a courtyard to the rear of the building. Please ask the team for directions.

Unfortunately, we only permit guide and assistance dogs.

Yes. We have a mobility ramp that can be put in place at the front entrance (two steps, double doors, wide entrance). It can also be used inside to provide access to our accessible toilet. Please add a note when booking if you require the ramp and assistance.
